Well-planned landscapes can: ✔ Increase property values ✔ Attract businesses and investors ✔ Support tourism ✔ Lower infrastructure maintenance costs ✔ Improve public health ✔ Create jobs ✔ Enhance environmental quality In other words, Landscape Architecture is an investment - not an expense. Every well-designed park, waterfront, streetscape, tourism destination and green corridor contributes to a stronger local economy. As Nigeria continues to urbanize, integrating Landscape Architecture into development policy can deliver long-term economic, environmental and social returns. That is why we believe Landscape Architecture should be recognized as critical national infrastructure.
